Patient teaching, proper structure and no judgement
Tutoring experience began in 2022, and MKH Academic Tutoring now builds on that experience with one simple approach: students do not need lessons that rush through more content. They need support that slows things down, spots where the confusion starts and explains it in a way that finally clicks.
Our lessons are supportive but focused, combining clear explanations, worked examples, practice questions and honest feedback so students leave with something practical they can use next time.
Academic background
Reliable, community minded and approachable
I care about students feeling comfortable enough to ask questions. That is why lessons are kept warm, organised and genuinely encouraging.
Outside tutoring, I enjoy staying involved in community work and volunteering, including Khalsa Aid, Re-engage, Barnardo’s, Watford Central Library, New Hope and Teenage Cancer Trust.
Why this matters for tutoring
Students often learn best when they feel comfortable with the person teaching them. Interests across sport, creativity, community work, technology and current affairs help lessons feel more relatable and less intimidating.
Skills, Interests & Hobbies
A rounded mix of interests helps students see that learning is not only about exams — personality, curiosity and confidence matter too.
